Loom Ventures is a newly established €100M venture capital fund investing in early-stage InfraTech across digital, energy and industrial infrastructure. Our investor and partner is STRABAG, one of Europe’s largest infrastructure groups. We invest as a financial VC with long-term capital, while giving our founders direct access to STRABAG’s industrial network and domain expertise.
We recently launched the fund. So alongside investing in outstanding European early-stage technology companies, you’ll help build a leading VC from scratch - from thesis and process to brand and ecosystem. We’re looking for two early-stage investment professionals to join us full-time in Vienna, owning the full deal cycle from sourcing through diligence and negotiation to board work.

Source and evaluate InfraTech opportunities across Europe.

Lead
Lead investment processes end-to-end, from due diligence through term sheet negotiation to closing.

Support founders as a board participant on strategy, hiring and follow-on financing.

Build
Shape Loom's investment thesis and help build the fund itself.
WHAT YOU BRING
Technical depth and a deal track record.
A technical foundation. A degree in engineering, computer science or a natural science, or demonstrated technical fluency from investing or operating in deep tech.
Four to six years in early-stage venture capital. With proven end-to-end ownership of several quality deals from sourcing through diligence to term sheet negotiation. Operating experience is a plus.
A European VC network. With proven access to proprietary dealflow, ideally with a footprint in one of the major hubs (London, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Munich).
Vienna as your base. Commitment to being based in our Vienna office, with regular travel across Europe.
Fluent English. German is helpful but not required.
